Addictions, addicts and how to end addictionAddictions are completely controllable if you have a
sense of self-control. Addiction is a state of mind that makes you believe that you "Need"
something to survive even if you just want it. Addiction is defined an action or actions you often
do even if it causes negative consequences (pain, stress or delays) in your life. Addiction and your brain Addictions effects a part of the brain that gives people the illusion that they "need" the object or person and therefore people continue using it. Addiction is also similar to learning a new skill that is hard to let go of. Most of the time addictions take control over people life to the point that the addiction is the priority in someone's life that comes before anything else that is truly important. Addiction is convenient way to escape reality, problems or issues people don't want to deal with. When people discover and correct the problems or issues that they are trying to escape from, people are trying to hide.... their addiction becomes curable like anything else in life. Controlling addiction When someone deals with addiction in a moderate way (not to extremes), an addiction can be controlled or stabilized. Most addicts have a genetic gene that makes them more passionate about their addiction. Qualities of addiction are: consciously or unconsciously thinking of people as your property, lying about your addictions, chasing addictions most of your time, thinking of a hobby as a "need" or just denying reality. All addiction can be cured by you All addiction are curable. In extreme cases of addictions it might be best to just replace your addiction with a healthy addiction but only if it's a matter of life and death. Some would argue that addiction can be a positive thing if your addiction is to do good but medical addiction is actually considered a disease by many. Samples of things that people get addicted to (and sometimes don't even know it) are: Laziness, smokes, shopping, sax, drugs, coffee, beer, etc. Moderation is a good thing most of the time (but not always).
Ways to End Addictions: 1. Seek the root of any possible problems you may have and resolve them. If you cant resolve that problem, try to find a way to convince yourself that you will avoid doing or getting involved with situations like that again. If your mind knows you've learned...it will set you freer. The purpose of the human brain is to experience and learn. That's my opinion. 2. Set consequences to your actions. If you continue to let your addiction ruin your life ...punish yourself (but not to an extreme). Make sure that the punishment is undesirable and painful. The mind learns when it sees that it's being restricted or punished. Its really best to do something that really discourages you from doing the addiction or problem again. 3. Some people have a very addictive personality...for them I suggest to find a healthy addiction that will help them succeed in life or make them more comfortable. Its really healthy to have some sense of conviction and commitment to something. Healthy addictions include: writing, art, expression of any kind, work, reading, schooling, learning new things, or what ever you cant think of. Good luck SAXUAL ADDICTION When something in your pants or panties is taking over your life or interfering with your life to the point that it's causing negative consequences, you need to take control of your body. Sax is is one of the most natural things to do but not if its messing up your life or its become a dangerous compulsion or addiction. Most people aren't really aware of themselves or have a uncontrollable urge that usually stems from something deeper then you may think. Well, Even Puppies grow up to have have sax and do it in their own "style". If someone is beings too sensual just remind then that there are many others ways to enjoy life. And if you're the one with the problem find a hobby you can do instead of sax. Find more Free advice and helpful tips about Feelings and Emotions right here. Or learn about Health and Fitness here.
