Improve Your Memory and start Remembering to remember the things you forget or ForgotImproving my memory is something
I do on a regular basis. If you want to improve Your memory all you have to do
is exercise Your brain. Then You will start remembering to remember the things
You can't recall. Your mind / brain will get the things You forget or forgot
much quicker from your memory. The science of memory Memories are stored in the unconscious and subconscious parts of your brain. Your conscious mind is the part of your brain that turn your thoughts into words or physical actions. Your conscious mind is basically your awareness. Your brain is organized in a way that it only makes you aware of things that are important at the appropriate time. Convinced to remember & memorizing When you convince your mind that something is very important (even necessary) you will become conscious of that memory. When trying to memorize things you need to exercise your mind or brain by starting with little things. Start by trying to memorize a series of numbers every day. Eventually your memory will enhance. Many times the human mind works best when things are emergencies or a matter of life or death. So by convincing your mind that you "Need" to remember it will make your memory work much faster. Talking (out loud or within yourself) to your brain can also show you mind that remembering is essential to your well being. You must work with your subconscious mind if you want to tell it to send your memory to your conscious mind (into awareness). Memorizing events and information is easy once you get use to it. The Human brain Your mind/brain (subconscious) is smarter then you are (consciously). Your subconscious mind has a mind of it's own in a way. It's like a different individual living in your head who takes care of most of your actions (breathing, basic life issues, etc). Your conscious mind lives in the "Now". Your sub-conscious mind lives in the past and keeps your mind organized so that your mind is clear and organized. It also keeps your inners organs working. Stuff like that! Remembering everything, all the time, would obviously lead to confusion. So you must follow your sub-conscious minds rules. At times it is best to talk to your brain as if it was a separate part of yourself (as if it was a conjoined twin of you). Your brain is designed to OBEY you (unless you’re doing something wrong, crazy, or putting your life in danger). Your brain is also designed to keep you sane and constantly evolving.
Ways to remember Tell your brain to organize within it self. Repeat important information a few times to remind your brain that its very important and worth remembering. Memories are easily recalled when your mind considers something very important or necessary. The brain is not going to clutter your life with memories you don’t NEED because that would lead to confusion. Organization is absolutely essential. Practice is also essential. Memory exercises Write down phone numbers you see in a book like the yellow pages and try to remember as many phone numbers after only reading them one. Then try to re-write them on a different sheet of paper with out looking at your original. Do this over and over again until your memory improves. Then, tell your brain that you want it to remember other things (that you find important) in the same way that it remembers those phone numbers. Final thought.
