They usually try to nurture and help their friends or family in one way or another. Most of the times cancer's try to help or nurture others even if they don't really know them but they usually try to stick to friends, family or those who are trustworthy. 

Almost all Cancer's are very shy or were at some point in their lives. Their extreme sensitivity makes them shy away from most people to try to avoid being hurt of used. Another reason some Cancer's are shy is because they don't want to socialize in a cold or insensitive way (unfortunately that's how most people socialize). So they try to stay away from social scenes. Cancer people are also very cautious and protective of the things they hold dear to them. Finding security is an essential part of a Cancer's life. They try to save money for rainy days and possible problems. A Cancer tends to day dream a lot since they have a very good imagination. On the bas side Cancer's can be overly sensitive, escapists and tend to get depressed sometime.
